This policy explains how Known Matter handles information supplied through product enquiries, AquaTrace test requests, orders and customer support.
Information collected
We may collect contact details, delivery details, enquiry content, order records and basic site-use information required to operate the store, support customers and meet legal obligations.
AquaTrace test requests
If you request an AquaTrace household water screen, we may collect your name, email address, postcode, nominated water source and any optional notes you provide. We use this information to manage the request, communicate availability and provide sampling instructions.
Stock notifications
If you request a stock notification, we use your email address to confirm the request, record demand and send one availability email. We do not add that request to an unrelated marketing list.
Payments
When checkout is available, payment details are handled by Stripe. Known Matter does not store complete payment-card details on its own systems.
Website analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate page visits, referrers, browser and device categories, and general geographic information. This first-party measurement does not use advertising cookies or add visitors to marketing profiles.
Service providers
We use reputable providers for website hosting, secure data storage, order administration, payment processing and transactional email. They receive only the information reasonably required to provide those services.
