These terms apply to products and services requested or purchased from Known Matter through this website.
Product and service information
Product use, format, net contents and service inclusions are stated on the relevant product page. Packaging may vary slightly from photographs without changing what is supplied.
Orders, requests and payment
Prices are displayed in Australian dollars. Shipping charges and the complete order total are shown before payment where online checkout is available. Submitting an AquaTrace test request does not itself take payment; Known Matter will confirm availability and the next steps separately.
AquaTrace household water screening
AquaTrace is a consumer water-screening service. The report describes observations from the submitted sample, including particle counts, size information, representative images and AI-assisted polymer classification into likely polymer groups. AI-assisted classification is not the same as chemical polymer confirmation by techniques such as FTIR or Raman spectroscopy.
AquaTrace results are not drinking-water compliance certification, do not certify water as safe or unsafe, and are not medical advice. If you have an immediate concern about water safety, contact the appropriate water authority or an accredited laboratory.
Purchaser responsibility
Purchasers must review the relevant product or service information and determine suitability for their intended use. Physical products must be handled and stored according to their label and Safety Data Sheet.
Consumer guarantees
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
